Stop animation video for When I Am King by Dutch indie rocker Tim Knol, directed by Sverre Frederiksen. The two minute film took two months to shoot and uses a technique known as pyrography, where the illustrations are burned onto wood and then animated. (via the recently relaunched drawn)
