A graduate project in animation by Lee Sunghwan of Studio Shelter. Though I had trouble discerning a plot exactly, I found myself giggling a few times, this is pretty well done.

A music video for South African artist Spoek Mathambo, a cover of the Joy Division classic “She’s Lost Control”, directed and shot by Pieter Hugo and Michael Cleary.
[Control] explores the world of township cults, street preaches and teen gangs and was shot on location in a squatted train boarding house in Langa, Cape Town. The cast is mainly made up of the neighborhood kids who run their own dance troop, Happy Feet.
As bizarre as it is incredibly beautiful. (via cliptip)
A collection of photographs by Takayuki Nakazawa and Hiroshi Manaka, the founding members of NAM, a collective of artists including photographers, graphic designers, makeup artists and others. The photos are created without the use of digital effects, instead relying on complex webs of filament, clever shifts in perspective, and other low-budget techniques. Truly mesmerizing and dreamlike imagery. NAM’s first public exhibition, A Fantasy in Life, opens at Public/Image.3D on February 25th. (via spoon and tamago)
