Shop Five continues with its third installment! This week I’d like to introduce you to an awesome shop called Found by James. James travels around the world and brings back a single treasure from each of his journeys and makes them available via his web site. The top five things I picked from his site comprise the bulk of his inventory, but that said I think it’s a testament to his eye for incredibly unique objects.

2. Ericailcane – Potente di Fuoco ($45)
I’ve been wanting to mention this book of illustrations by Ericailcane for some time. As a Christmas gift in 2009 Ericailcane’s parents gave him a collection of his own childhood illustrations that they had been safekeeping for almost 25 years. He immediately set to work and re-illustrated everything, eventually publishing this book, a side-by-side comparison of drawings from 1985 and 2010. Here’s a quick video of it.
3. Bloc 36 Matches ($25)
Admittedly these matches were still available as recently as yesterday when I started writing this post, alas they’ve been relegated to the archive. But they seem to be available here.
