Handmade Blown Glass Flora and Fauna by ‘Glass Symphony

Ukrainian glass artist Nikita Drachuk of Glass Symphony creates all manner of glass spiders, octopi, and other critters by hand. He uses a method called lampworking, where a lamp or torch is used to melt rods of colored glass. Once in a molten state, the glass can be formed by blowing and shaping with various tools and small movements. You can see more of their delicate glass critters here.

New Miniature Handmade Glass Creatures by ‘Glass Symphony

Kiev-based glass artist Nikita Drachuk of Glass Symphony (previously) continues to crank out all matter of tiny glass objects from birds and bees to slugs and salamanders. Drachuk primarily uses a technique called lampwork, where a high-temperature torch is used to melt colorful glass rods. You can see more of his work on Etsy.

Kyiv-based artist Nikita Drachuk (previously) is behind a delicate menagerie of translucent octopuses, striped spiders, and mottled slugs exquisitely crafted in glass. Elaborately shaped with curling tentacles and segmented legs, the miniature creatures are the product of lampworking, which involves melting the colorful material with a lamp or torch. Drachuk works under the moniker Glass Symphony and has hundreds of pieces available on Etsy.
