Flower Mandalas by Kathy Klein
I’m loving the vibrant colors and the meticulous placement of every leaf, flower petal, and pine cone is these natural mandalas by Arizona artist Kathy Klein. The pieces are called danmalas (‘the giver of garlands’ in Sanskrit), and after each is formed and photographed Klein leaves them where they were created as a gift to whoever discovers them. (via things organized neatly)

Superb Multiple Exposure Portraits by Christoffer Relander
I am such a sucker for multiple exposure photography, it simply never, ever gets old for me, especially when composed as wonderfully as these recent shots by self-taught photographer Christoffer Relander who lives and works in Finland. You can see many more shots on his website and prints are available over on Behance. If you like these, also check out the work of Jon Duenas. (via the curious brain)

If the photographs of individuals being blasted in the face with high-powered wind wasn’t enough for you, he’s followed up with this companion video which is every bit as awesome as the photos. Filmed by Spotas. (via vimeo)

Star Trails: Incredible Long Exposure Photographs Shot from Space
Over the past two months NASA has been releasing a number of wonderful long exposure photographs taken by astronaut Don Pettit aboard the International Space Station. While there are many photos like these taken from the perspective of the Earth’s surface, Pettit’s images are unique in that they incorporate the passing blur of entire illuminated cities, aurora, and the sporadic flashes of lightening from thunderstorms. Check out many more photos from the series here. (via petapixel)

Brock Davis Plays with his Food

From his famous broccoli house to his gummy bear skin rug and the fantastic rice krispyhenge, he never seems to run out of ingenious ideas. The destiny of the three cucumbers sitting in my kitchen has just changed dramatically.
