With an adept understanding of ceramics and anatomy, Hong-Kong based artist Johnson Tsang (previously) creates strange and unexpected anthropomorphic sculptures where human forms seem to splash effortlessly through functional objects like bowls, plates, and cups. While the works shown here are mostly innocent and comical in nature the artist is unafraid of veering into more macabre subject matter in other artworks that grapple with war and violence. Jeffrey Tsang is a maritime vlogger, sailor, and photographer on a container ship that travels across the globe. His latest video is a timelapse that captures 30 days of the barge's journey, tracing its path from the Red Sea all the way to Hong Kong. The 4K video is composed of nearly 80,000 photos which capture breathtaking views of quickly shifting skies, deep red sunsets, and brilliant blue lightening amidst ferocious storms. Human Faces Emerge from Splashes of Stainless Steel by Johnson Tsang

Hong Kong-based artist Johnson Tsang creates fascinating stainless steel sculptures containing the faces of people that seem to peer out from cascades of frozen liquid. If something seems familiar about these, it's likely that you stumbled onto his 2002 ceramic work of kissing faces made of poured coffee that has been widely shared online. You can see dozens of the artist's works over on Facebook—fair warning, some are exceptionally bizarre such as a human dinosaur and a cup kissing a saucer.
