Refreshment: The Art of Perpetual Evaporation
In this new animated short from Johan Rijpma a slowly evaporating pool of water is outlined by chalk just as it’s about to disappear and then “repainted” again, creating a rabbit hole of perpetual evaporation. The first bit shows the process but the purpose becomes a bit clear as things speed up. Very cool. (via Jason Sondhi)
