Photographer Elizaveta Porodina Turns Her Luminous Lens to Insects

Perhaps best known for her luminous portraits in collaboration with legacy magazines and fashion houses, photographer Elizaveta Porodina has also captured the smaller, yet no less striking, creatures walking this planet. Commissioned for the climate-focused publication Atmos, a radiant series of images highlights beetles, butterflies, and mantises in her signature ethereal style and saturated color. The body of work focuses on the concept of biomimicry and accompanies a feature on Janine Benyus, who coined the term.
